I'm trying to think if his backstory is dumb... I dunno. It used to be worse. lmao. So yeah!

History: Levi Pridgen is one of the two sons of a high standing politician during the time. He found he liked both sexes when he was young, but when he expressed this to his friends, they beat him profusely. This merits his fear of sexual advances, feeling like he’ll be beaten for who he is. When in such a situation, he quickly excuses himself from the room. He also speaks little because when he did, it got him in trouble.

When he told his father of this occurrence, of course leaving out the remark about his sexuality, his friends absolutely denied, as was expected. Levi was then completely ignored by all save for his mother and older brother, who was his best friend and the only one who accepted him. It has even been stated that his father has altogether dismissed that he even had a second son, going so far as to say that he has a younger daughter instead. This was influenced by Levi’s increased interest in the arts: dancing, painting, music, and topiary. He loves people watching and sketching others, with their permission, of course

One morning while he was out painting in the yard, he received a letter from an Airabella Kaynard. Intrigued, since he’d never met a woman of this name, he opened the letter and read the note contained inside. It told of Persephone Park, and how Airabella heard of his craft. She asked that he come to Persephone to paint and draw for her and the guests of the house. At the end of the letter, it had the location of the house written and Airabella’s signature. Levi was ecstatic. He instantly packed his art stuff, told his mother he was off to do a commission for someone and picked a few paintings from his studio to give to Lady Kaynard as gifts. He then trekked to Persephone to give her his answer: That he would absolutely love to.
